Booking # 151: Factory 004 @ Studio B, Brooklyn

Its always a pleasure playing Studio B, its one of the best clubs in the city, and this night was special as it was the first time i've played an event with Frankie Bones. I enjoyed Heather Heart the most. I Dj'd in the 2nd room, from about 3-4. Decent crowd, grew as the time passed. Ended up playing an 80 minute set as the dj after me did not have his serato ready. Fun event. Thanks to the promoters.

Booking # 150 Direct Drive Loft Party, Brooklyn

WOW! Best NYC DnB night (at least on a weekend) in a loooong time, best gig i've had in a minute too. Vibe was sick, lots of old school DD headz, so nice to hear Posi-D on the mic again... Musically I think it was fantastic, Strife and I opened with deep liquidy funky minimal stuff, right in to the funky rolling deeeeeep bass harder style of mmdoc who killed it! He played a bunch of originals, lots of brand new unreleased stuff, and a few classics (lk)... Dara went on after him at about 2:00 and played a fantastic set of anthemic haaard dnb... Trigon vs Eshin closed it proper with more hard stuff, dope dubstep and a little of everything else, these guys are so good!!! On the mic the whole night was Posi-D, Diggadee and birthday boy Dylz... Great stuff guys!

One negative was of course the temperature, since the ac was not working... Hot as hell in there... The AC situation will be fixed shortly...

Many many thanks to the heads that came out, turnout was great, we had to kick people out at 4:10, such a vibe in the room!

People were coming up to me all night saying the venue is excellent (sans the heat) and the vibe and music was dead on, so many good things ahead!!!
