Booking # 157: August 30th 2009 - Missing Josh Link, Long Island, NY

What to say about this gig.... Lets just say the actual gig was irrelevant although it was fun to play on a huge sound system... We were there to celebrate and remember Josh Link, an absolutely great human being who is missed very much. He was special in so many ways.... RIP Josh!

Booking # 156: August 29th 2009, Direct Drive Loft w/ Random Movement, Jo-s, Sable Gray, Hellfire Machina

Another excellent night at the loft! I tagged with Dj Seoul to open the night, which was fun. Only the 2nd time in the 6+years i've known homeboy that we have tagged. Sable Gray played a chill set of mostly originals before busting in to a couple old school tunes, great vibes, tight set. Random Movement absolutely killed it! Really amazing set of brand new dubs, and ooooold classics, great across the board selection, very tight mixing. He really had the crowd moving, awesome vibes! Jo-S impressed me with his singing and djing, great style, totally original, also had the crowd the whole time. Last up was Hellfire Machina who ended the night properly with an awesome dubstep set, excellent tunes, dancefloor selection. Diggaddee on the mic was excellent. Great vibes as always from the Direct Drive loft!

Booking # 155: Elements, Cambridge, Mass

Lenore

Wow, this will be remembered as one of my favorite gigs ever! Combination of a great sound system, amazing vibe, huge crowd going crazy for every minute of my 90 minutes set, and i'm especially happy with how i played. My 12:30-2:00 set started with small mellow stuff and it was not long until i was throwing down deep rollers. Peaks and valleys of harder tunes and smaller vocal tunes as well as a few originals and collaborations. Dropped a dubstep tune right in the middle of my set, just to mix things up, went over really well, and fun going from 140bmp's to 175 bpm's, the crowd was with me for every minute. Many thanks to Lenore for my Boston/Cambridge debut and for all the hospitality! Can't wait to return!
