Great night overall. This was the NYC debut of Random Movement, alongside the return of Mixmaster Doc and Focus. Local support was Saburuko, Raw Q, and Strife, i hosted and promoted this party. The music was fantastic, Strive vs. Raw Q for 2 hours was a great trip thru deep melodic funky dnb, lots of vibe in that set. Saburuko was on point as usual. Random Movement stole the show. His original tunes were recognized by most of the crowd where singing along. very tight set, beautiful funky liquid DnB. He tagged for a little over 2 hours, with Focus and Mixmaster doc who took the set a little deeper and harder. Great up and down set. The venue was packed, everyone came out, big vibe in there. Unfortunately someone decided to tag up the place in numerous locations included the front door, bathroom and walls inside the venue. Unbelievable that someone would ruin this venue for us. There were also many complaint by the neighbors, so we had to shut down early and the main speakers had to be shut off even earlier. That was all disappointing. We still had a great night, and i was very pleased to bring NYC Random Movement. I had been trying to book him for a while.
