I tagged with Nychavok, a local NYC guy. Our styles did not mesh very well, and we only had 1 hour, plus i think he had a few technical difficulties, so i hardly felt like i played which is a huge disapointment beause that dj booth is incredible. Still fun playing for the 25 minutes or so that i got to. (I jumped back on latter in the evening and played the last tune of the night, Adam F - Circles, great ending)... Random Movement played a fantastic set, it was actually the first time in NYC that he has played a solo set. High energy, bass heavy, bouncy, deep, liquid dnb, with a few classic Dnb tunes from 95 or so thrown in here an there seamlessly. He really impressed me and the crowd. He will be back in NYC soon.
The crowd was large and into the music, about 200 inside. Good vibes, although the Love crowd is somewhat less rowdy and passionate about DnB then your usual DnB crowd, more of a club crowd with a good chunk of junglists in the mix. It is an honor to play at the club and work with this party. I can't wait for the next time. Many many thanks to DB, Rod, Nychavok and the rest of the Snos crew!
