US Tour Day 6I spent day 4 and 5 with family in San Diego. Love SD. Ate lots of sushi, saw lots of nice things, spent good time with family, got some sun, excellent few days.
Landed in San Fransisco at about 3:00 in the afternoon, headed to the hotel and dropped my things off. I walked around a bit, saw parts of china town and the union square area. Met up with a friend and local MC Zezo One, and hung out for a bit before meeting up with Lukeino and heading to the venue. Went to Ali Baba's Cave which was near the venue, huge gyro with hummus, roasted eggplant and french fries. Zezo and I used to work together in NYC at Direct Drive parties, he was often the MC a few years ago before he moved to the west coast, so it was good to connect with him again.
This was my first gig in San Fransisco. Very chill night at what is basically a sports bar called Nickies. A strange environment to play DnB in, with UFC on the TV's. But it was a great opportunity to play the smaller chill DnB that i love. Couple of people dancing towards the end of my set, i played about 90 minutes. Overall fun night, thanks to the crew for having me down.
My first day in SF was great. Gorgeous city. Looking forward to seeing more over the next few days.
