US Tour Day 7Woke up early and took the cable car to Fisherman's Warf. Took a boat under the Golden Gate bridge and around Alcatraz. Got lots of sun, I looked like a lobster by the evening. Ate crab, shrimp and sourdough bread in the area. Waited about an hour to get a cable car back to the hotel, totally worth it. Awesome beautiful day!
This gig was strange. The venue was large, but instead of people standing dancing, they were sitting in the back of the venue on couches or standing at the bar, not many people actually on the dance floor. They served good Mexican food till very late in the morning which was cool. Sound was a nit too loud and intense, hard to hear the monitor with the blasting speakers. I played hard, soft, deep, vocal, no matter what i played i could not get that many people to dance. I still got good feedback, decent vibe, there were a few heads rocking out, but overall disappointing. Still fun, thanks to the promoters.
